This is my last question on this for a while. Has anyone used Battlelore as is with other scales (20mm or 28mm)? Has anyone tried it using some of the better 10-12mm figures like Kallestra, and the other ones (One is in Italy and I cannot think of the other one). Help? |

I have with Kallistra 100mm hexes – very cool indeed. :) I have also played in 18mm and 28mm scale. The system plays well with all scales. :) |

Yes, in 28. Scale is largely irrelevant except in terms of hex size. 6mm looks nice with a fair number of guys per "block" but it can be harder to tell unit types apart.. |

5 inch hexes with 28mm figures. |

I am very tempted to buy the game for the rules and then get the larger scale minis, probably 28mm. Are there high quality 18-20mm HYW figures out there? I have the Kallestra hexes so I am set there. Who makes the best 10mm HYW is it Magister Militum? |

Look no further than Kallistra: link |

Very nice indeed! Any insubordinate comments for the Major? |

religon The Kallistra hexes are 4 inches across. Would 28mm fit? |

Interesting post. I have been considering using the wide range of excellent plastics available including Perry WOTR, mixed with my GW dwarfs and goblins. I think Kallistra hexes can work (and are useful to create special terrain), but I prefer my Hotz mat with 5 inch hexes. The Colonel |

The Kallistra hexes are 4 inches across. Would 28mm fit? you could get 10 28mm figures in a Kallistra hex in 2 ranks of 5. |

I used to do it with 5" hexs and 90mm schleich figures. |
