Very nice, these are Front Rank are they not? Where is the flag from?

Nice M'lord. Are you planning to do all the German division? If so can I ask what book you found most useful for uniform reference?
Thanks

Teppsta,

Yes, I intend to paint every unit the German Division.

Digby Smith's book is a must have for anyone interested in this formation – Napoleon's German Division. Lots of information about the units, plus coloured prints of the uniforms.

My Frankfurt flag is the same. From Flagdude. I'm unsure about its authenticity.. may be conjectural. Suits me fine as I don't allow my troops out of barracks without a flag, with the exception of the 95th Rifles. Very nice unit

Very nice to see unusual troops.

Thanks for sharing

Raglan what figure from Front ranks range did you use for these? was it a battalion pack or all individual figures?

I have just started to look at the Frankfurt Battalion.
Some of the figures are from Front Rank Mixed Command FNRPK8.

You will find that Maverick Models are listing alternative flag variations now.

I am uncertain as to whether the Battalion was Line or Light designation, ie square or pointed lapels. Also blue or white jacket? Maybe someone could offer guidance on this please?

Hi All
Stuart at Maverick Models will be adding 2 more 'speculative' flags to the 2 he lists already

My attempt at Frankfurt Battalion flags. Foundry & Front rank figures and Maverick Models flags.

I need to learn how to take better pictures and, with my growing collection of standard bearers, sort out my display cabinet.
