Has anybody try to wash or dip figures after they've already been sprayed with dull coat? Can it work with the same results?

Sure. No problem.

yup, did this with some old Colonials…

The dip works great over Dullcotte.

I've done this with old block-painted figures.
Wash with inks and revarnish (and pretty up the bases) – makes a huge difference
