Wow!

jpattern219 Jun 2013 6:15 a.m. PST

Looking at the side-view of the PzIVG, isn't that just about the tankiest tank you ever saw?

Nice renders, looking forward to the real things.

Another Account Deleted19 Jun 2013 6:29 a.m. PST

Daddy likes! :)

The renders even almost look like actual models.

US Distributor?

MaxieTPB19 Jun 2013 6:38 a.m. PST

Those are beautiful! The Pz IIIJ is my favorite tank of WW2. I blame that on countless games of "Panzer General" on the old 3DO console back in the '90s. :)

Good news on the 1/48 PZ IIIs, especially ones suitable for early war battles. Any idea on the cost? Thanks.

Disco Joe19 Jun 2013 7:09 a.m. PST

They look great. I noticed on your webpage that in the coming soon section it lists a 250 Alte. Do you have plans on doing the Alte version or just the Neu version shown here?

Blitzkriegminiatures19 Jun 2013 9:00 a.m. PST

Thank all for you your feedback,

Neilsmith – We don't currently have a US distributor, however all the models are available directly from us and we ship worldwide.

Aegiscg47 – these will fall into the same brackets as our current models in their respective scales.

DiscoJoe – We do intend to cover the larger Alte model, news of this release will be posted on our facebook page and on TMP

Paul

Paul, that is great. Any idea of shipping costs to the states?

Blitzkriegminiatures19 Jun 2013 9:28 a.m. PST

Hi Disco,

A single 1/56 or 1/48 tank is around the £3.00 GBP mark, multiple purchases work out cheaper.

Kind regards

Paul

Thanks Paul, but it looks like the price is already "competitive", so I'm expecting shipping to make it unworkable. I'll check into it though.

Thanks,
Neal

Those are indeed lovely models and competitively priced but I notice that your web site does not comply with the Distance Selling Regulations in that you do not provide a "snail mail" address (or at least I couldn't find it).

The Panzer III's look stunning, but I am especially interested in the SDKFZ 250 neu, that looks especially appealing. I look forward to it being released. More pictures when available, please.

Oh, my bank account's gonna take a hit!! They look splendid!

Very nice detailing and I like your platoon deals too.

I have their 1/56 Valentine. It's gorgeous. Easy clean up. The bogies are isolated little units that stand out from the underside of the tank. Very cool they managed to do that. All round, the detail is brilliant and the clean up was minimal. It looks like a kit model and it is all one part casting. I've already placed the next order.

Not sure about cast-on resin machine guns though. Lost the barrel pretty fast. Will have to replace with hollow brass rod. The bren carrier they made for Perry has a few metal pieces included with the crew. Maybe the way to go.

These are beautiful. Is the IIIG the tank of the Afrika Korps in '41?

I've been looking for a Stug IIIF/8 forever. I don't suppose you have any plans for that?

Baycee23 Jun 2013 6:42 a.m. PST

Hi Paul,

Looking at the site i see a mention about a "4 for 3 offer" but i can't find any details. Can you please detail a bit?

Sorry if it's the wrong place to ask this.

Blitzkriegminiatures25 Jun 2013 3:31 a.m. PST

Hi all,

Thank you for the kind words and feedback.

We will be producing a full range of vehicles in all 3 scales including the models mentioned above.

With regard to the '4 for 3' offer, this offer is currently not running, however this is what it offered:

'So if you were wanting a platoon of Sherman's for example and need that firefly too? Just purchase the 3 Sherman's and request a free Sherman firefly. Simple!!

You can of course do the same with all the vehicles such as purchasing 3 German Panther's and a free Tiger? It's up to you! Or even 3 Sherman's and a Tiger to shoot back!!

Please make sure that all the purchased tanks are the same scale, i.e. all 4 are 1/72 (20mm) or all 4 are 1/48 (28mm)'

Hope that makes more sense

kind regards

Paul
