I have always wanted to do Brazilians in Italy. It's just a matter of buying the figures, painting them and putting together some scenarios. Other than that, I'm ready. Otherwise, give me Italians. They are the perfect army to command – if you win you are a genius and if you get your ass kicked
.well what do you expect, they are Italians. |

Good timing. I've never gamed WWii before but I just picked up some 39 Poles & Germans for Bolt Action. I also just bought Flames of War. As to favorites, I would say: 1) British Paras, 2) American Paras, 3) Fallschirmjager. |

British or Canadians in Northwest Europe, 1944-1945.

That is a tough choice, for me it would have to be either US Armored Infantry with all of those halftracks or British Paras with no heavy support, just rock hard infantry with whatever they could parachute in with |

Axis or allies in north Africa using FOW and Russians in Urban (Stalingrad) using 28mm skirmish. |

That is a tough question to answer but if pressed I would have to say Canadians in NWE and Italy. Cool kit and good scrappy fights abound. Not quite as doctrinaire as the British Army and so some creative flourishes are possible with the colonials. My only regret is that Ram tanks were never used in battle except as mobile FOO OP's. The more mud and misery, the better; as long as that is on the table and not in real life. Cheers. Rod Robertson. |

I am building Brits in Syria 1941. They infantry are in solar toupees and you get to use Yeomanry cavalry. Yes I know they wore helmets in battle, but the topeelooks so quaint. |

The recent Warlord releases of 1939-42 Germans (plastics & metal) has really increased my interest in this period. I'm putting together a reinforced platoon of these minis for 1939. |

1941-2 Japanese
clockwork toy-type tanks, but superb elan and really competent infantry practice. But mostly I play British paras in 1944 and therefore spend a lot of time losing against my wife's Germans. |

I'm quite partial to Blitzkreig Axis, particularly Barbarossa. What's not to like, 6 different types of tanks, lots of different vehicles, horsed cavalry, Stukas and you get Romanians, Hungarians, Finns, Italians, Slovaks etc as allies. |

Bandrika, the Empire of Terramasu and Republica Bananos! I do Imagi-nations. They're both parody nations. Bandrika is a sort of re-federation of the former lands of the Austrian Empire, and The Republica Bananos is a combination of the ABC nations of South America. Yah the SS are OK, but you haven't fought till you lead the Frauderales, Les Mesquiteros, the Gazpacho (secret police) nd the Frito Bandidos agaisnt the the Guinzo Guards, the Terroryakis, and the Bonsaiboiz.
