I found this figure in a box of mine mixed with a large variety of old Hinchcliffe, Ral Partha, Rafm and Grenadier figures. As best I can tell it's a frog/lizard guy carrying a beholder cthulu mutation. Any help figuring out the manufacturer and name is appreciated:

Tough one – I'd guess maybe an early Dunwich Horror fig, or some random Chaos spawn/mutation thingy, but the manufacturer eludes me.

If you decide you don't want it for yourself, I'd be interested in a trade or buy though. Neat looking model, be fun to paint.

Got me, it's nothing I recognize.

I love it!

I'll second richarDisney on this: That thing is a mystery to me, but is nonetheless wonderful.

I'll try to get a better picture tonight. Front & back maybe. This thing doesn't even have a base.

I am not sure if I'm going to use it or not. It's possible to use it as a Cthulu minion/avatar that deals with a party until they tick off the main man who appears as the big Cthulu I'm getting with my Reaper Kickstarter.

But I might be interested in trading it too. It's pretty darn messed up…

This thing doesn't even have a base.

That's what has me stumped. Very few older figs without integral bases from any of the manufacturers it was living with. Something about it reminded me of the style on some of the Magnificent Ego range, but I don't see a match anywhere on Valiant's site.

Greg's latest girlfriend? :)

The arm up in the air has an early Grenadier feel to it.

Agreed, it does – did they make a Dunwich Horror fig when they had Call of Cthulhu? I can't find one on Stuff of Legends or Mirliton's site, but maybe I'm just missing it.

Could it possibly be two seperate figures somehow melted together?

Bryan Stroup17 Jun 2013 8:03 p.m. PST

Here's a better pic of the figure:

Mad Monkey 1: Greg *wishes* he had a girlfriend right now.

Chef Lackey Rich Fezian18 Jun 2013 3:38 a.m. PST

Still baffled. Great figure, though.

EDIT: Ah, the miniature, that is, not Greg's hypothetical girlfriend. :)

Wow…I got the answer off the Lead Adventures Forum HERE: link

Now how did something as rare and wonderful as that wind up in the Lead-Box?
