Those Australian heads are sweet for tobruk run ins and Syria, where they were apparently encouraged to wear the slouch hat into action in order to, as the higher-ups thought, intimidate the French. |

Jeff Ewing, it wasn't to intimidate the French, it was to show that they were not British, the French long term (and historically much hated) opponents. |
