I'm posting these on behalf of a friend who doesn't have TMP access. He's trying to find out details about this piece of terrain bought for him by his uncle 28 years ago.

You can see the scale by the 28mm Bolt Action figure and 1:50 die cast Cromwell.

It seems to be made of some kind of resin.

Any ideas?

Looks like something Sears used to sell from their old Wish Book Christmas catalogue. They used to call it the 'Navarone' playset. It came with toy soldiers in gray and green and two plastic tanks. Scale would have been about 1/35 or thereabouts, roughly toy soldier scale.

Maybe its a Japanese bunker? Like the ones on Iwo. It looks like that on the inside view, youve got the crossfire positions for mgs n snipers and well, its built into a mountain….
