I did not know that the Soviets sent MIG21 and IL28 aircraft to Cuba. Would make for some interesting CY6 scenarios.

Yea, especially after the U-2 shootdown, and with all the low-level RF-8 Crusader sorties over the island as well.

Lots of good fodder there for some air battles.

2 missile regiments had 2000 kilometer range = ~ 1242 miles
1 misslie regiment had 4500 kilometer range = ~ 2796 miles
