Bought this diecast model today and was wondering if this version of the Sherman dozer was used in WW2? I draw you attention to the fact that the blades are not the more usual M1 dozer blade.

The title should read "War Master die-cast Sherman 105mm with dozer", and not "Master Sherman 105mm with dozer". Apologies!

looks like an m1 blade to me as used during ww2

Thanks for reply Shaun. That's what I thought when I bought it. However, on comparison with other models and photos with M1 blade, the one on this War Master die-cast has a few noticeable and distinct differences. The rest of the model is well enough done, so it has made me think that this was a different version for Korea, as marked on the box. I was hoping it wasn't, all the same, and that it could double up for WW2 games.

I suppose it all depends on how precise you want to be. I wouldn't have any hesitation about including it in a late war US army. After all it isn't as though you will be using many of these anyway perhaps 2 at the most.
