Well it has now been 18 months from the time I asked Gear & Guts for a release date of the 6mm Gear Krieg vehicle minis and still zip. I have seen pictures of US General Early vehicles in both walker & vehicle version, but still have not seen the minis released for purchase. So, will we ever see them> Or is as they say the idea still born and will never happen?

I hope that 6mm GK does become a reality. I'd really be into collecting it.

I am not with company b so I could be very wrong, but…

from what I am reading, they are switching to 3D printing. Which means that anything they have as a model can be printed off pretty much in ANY scale (with maybe some tweaks here and there to take into scaling errors).

IF this is true and IF the work queue is correct:

from companyb.biz

Russian G-27 Walker TBD master complete
Italian LC-1 Walker TBD master complete
British Cavalier TBD master complete

and IF these are computer models… then they should be coming soon.

Or I could be horribly wrong.

There was a company called Magic Miniatures that until recently did some alt WWII figs. They had a walker, and German UFOs and several other items.

I sure hope they come back!

Landorl, I also would love to see Magic Miniature come back for I missed out on the German mine clearing vehicle they had . I could have used a few of those.

Well, a few months later it looks like we're getting closer to making 1/285th scale Gear Krieg available. We're sending the 3D art off to the printers to make the masters, and then looking forward to some test casts of the Early, Valkyrie, G-27 and Shi-Ki. We'll post pics as we get 'em! We're also re-doing the 1/285th scale Ratte as well, which I'm just dying to get done.

Come on by our FB site to stay up to date:

And this site has some nice 1/56th scale GK kits on it:

Cheers!

Whatever happened to the 15mm expansion? That is, all the minis that DP9 hasn't made.

I remember a comment that Company B was considering a deal with DP9 to work on the 15mm range…
