Are the CD supplements useful for other game systems?
Is the OOB and scenario info closely tied to the game system or can it be easly adapted for other games?

The supplements should be usable with any other platoon level game system. You will have to know how to convert the morale/skill ratings and some of the units are a bit tough to convert (I'm not exactly sure what a weapons stand is for instance).

Thanks.

We have used Benghazi Handicap to generat Flames of War scenarios.
It is also just chock full of other useful information too.

@Caesar,

I know people who use them for Spearhead and FOW, as well as Rapid Fire and Battlefront.

@Dynaman,

A weapons stand in CD is a mix of machine guns and mortars.

For a German infantry battalion as an example, the heavy company consists of 2 MMG platoons and 1 8cm mortar platoon. In practice, these were often pushed down to the rifle companies with 2 sections of machine guns and 1 section of mortars per company. The weapons stand represents those assets.

Thanks Garret!

I have the old armies of WWII for CD2, no other source that I know of lists the support items in a division (field kitchens for example)

Benghazi Handicap is a great book, full of really useful information, love it. Used the Market Garden book, for a lot of CROSSFIRE scenarios, another great read.

Jake does great scenario books, and I second the comment on "Benghazi Handicap" as a great source book.
