Hey guys. There are already some posts about this on the boards, but they are a couple years old and wondering if the situation has changed. Wondering if there is a line of 15mm figures suitable for Crimean War gaming. Prefer more skirmish style figs with a little animation as I want to mount them in smaller batches rather than in rank and file, If there's nothing for 15 I'd consider 28, but the warlord stuff tends to have very static poses. Thoughts appreciated. |

Eureka miniatures make a really nice range which includes all you would need. |

You can see my 15mm Eureka on the Wargamorium Blog. Scroll or look under categories on the right hand side. thewargamorium.6sided.net I don't have a ruleset yet but there are a few available and I was toying with the idea of adapting Man at War Napoleonic Rules. Keep us informed about your choice. Regards |

Eureka are 18mm and beautiful figures, I am working on a British army of the Crimea right now. |

If you want to stick to "true" 15mm, you can also have a gawk at Irregular. The bulk of mine are Minifigs, though, and they look real nice. I just wish they had a Russian in March Attack. |

Lancashire are good and fit well with Eureka. |

I have been informed that Old Glory will be releasing a new Crimean War range in their 'Blue Moon' 18mm miniature series some time in 2014. I imagine these will be fairly compatible with Eureka's excellent figures in terms of scale. Even more, I am hopeful they will fill some of the big gaps left by Eureka. |

Rank and File did a Russian Infantry in greatcoat and helmet March Attack (with correct pointing of the toe) in 15mm. A little larger then the Minifigs but quite compatable. |

if you want variety, I'd use eureka, but I have "battle vision" so I am using minifig with "rank and file" crusader game rules. eventually I want to have the largest Crimean War collection in the region. looking at about 1700 counting everybody. (except gunners, teamsters, dogs, vignettes, and generals. I figure if you do something, then do ONE thing but do it right. |

My apologies if I am posting this in the wrong place, but I thought that Benglish might be interested to know that I currently have on EBay two 15mm Rank and File Crimean War lots. The first is two packs of Brits (200 figures) and is closing tomorrow (starting bid $40 USD(Aus)). The second is six packs of Russians (600 figures) and is closing in two days (starting bid $120 USD(Aus)). |

Eureka are by far the nicest but the cavalry are massive
closer to 20mm . Irregular 20mm nap Prussians are close enough . Any update on the Blue Moon range..? |

I emailed them a few weeks ago and they are on the Blue Moon list but no time frames. I am looking at Regimental Fire and Fury as my base set of rules. |

Regimental Fire and Fury is going to mean a LOT of figures. LOT. We worked out how many more I'd need to do that. Lots. But then if you use Fire and Fury for the bigger actions and Regimental Fire and Fury for smaller actions? |

Here are some photos of really nicely painted Eureka 18mm Crimean War Russians. Wish they were mine! link |
