Nice stuff – shame it's no longer being produced. Would be nice if somebody bought the designs and molds from him.

I recognize that picture.

I used to love the pictures from that epic site, and those snapdragon terrain bits were part of my favorites. Is the site still around?

Snap dragon had a very individual look – I hadn't realised they'd stopped trading.

I first noticed Snapdragon's terrain way back in the pages of early issues of Wargames Illustrated. I especially liked their 25mm wall-and-hedge pieces.

I've got stacks of the hedges, 6 sets still bagged (small hedges) having a sort through at the moment so may go up for sale. Snapdragon was an ace company, I think the owner/sculptor was ill, so looked to sell the company for ages, sad really.

Good to know, Lardie.

Cool pic!

It's hard to find otherworldly dwellings that look weird but not too weird. (Or like that sentence, vague but not too vague?)

I've been searching for these for sometime … It's like looking for Bigfoot … many have heard about it … very few say they saw it … frown

Legion,

The good news; I have some painted 6mm Snapdragon buildings like those in your photo plus some others, that are surplus to requirements.

The bad news; I'm in England and there have been more than a small number of horror stories of things being posted from the UK to USA and either taking forever or never arriving at all!

Hi Lardie,
would you be ready for selling me your edge packs? Are they 28 or 6 mm?
cheers Stefano

Hi Stefanov, I'll look into postage to Italy, in the mean time here's my email;
jc001f7031@blueyonder.co.uk

I know it's a dumb address.

Has the supply from the man himself dried up completely? I understood he was not longer *casting* due to health troubles, but he was still *sculpting* masters, and more to the point, still had some stock . . . at least as late as last year.

Shame if it's all gone . . . his terrain-following buildings made a nice change from the "Flat pasture" mounted structures so common in other ranges.

Here's a link to Moondragon, they carry a bunch of the 6mm Sci-fi bunkers – link

Covert Walrus25 Aug 2013 4:07 p.m. PST

Cool – anyone tried an order?

Still looking for the two BIG structures in the pic BTW … And never ordered from Moondragon … but would if they had those two terrain pieces, I'm looking for. And yes, I did e-mail them but got no reply …
