I spent yesterday watching Wehrmacht, while painting German soldiers, so now I am in the mood for some good documentaries on the Third Reich
So what are some good ones
at the moment I am watching
The Nazis: A Warning from History

Watch "Triumph of the Will". It's pre-war, lots of pagentry and you will get to see and hear speeches from many of the promenent members of the Nazi's. I sat wondering how many in the film would be dead in 10 years.

World at War. Made in the early 70s, it still holds up well today. Probably one of the best documentary series of all time.

I second the motion as regards World at War. Still among the best.

I remember watching that with my Dad and being utterly fascinated by it when I was a kid. It went a long way towards making me the WW II nut I am today…

There's a good one I saw at a film festival years ago… 'Photographer' by Dariusz Jablonski. It's not about the war though. It's focused on the amateur photographs of the chief accountant of the Lodz Ghetto juxtaposed with his ledgers and various documents. Since it's mostly photographs and voiceover there some attempt to liven it up with music and FX… but not to where it becomes distracting.
A history professor friend who I watched it with was quite impressed.
Anyway, it's on YouTube in 2 parts:

Gah! The Fotoamator on YouTube is only the middle 20 minutes… the actual film is 52 minutes long according to IMDB and there is a lot more too it. The whole thing is on there in… Polish I think? German subtitles only.
Anyway, it's really quite good if you can find it. It really captures the banality of evil.

Sorry about that.

"The Nazis: A Warning From History" was very comprehensive.

"War of the Century" is good as well.
