Only free to Amazon Prime members.

At least that's what I'm seeing.

Thanks for the tip. Yes, you have to join Amazon Prime to read get the book "free". They give you a month's free trial of Amazon Prime. That entitles you to free next day deliveries. So it might be handy when I go back to the UK for a month.

"Amazon Prime is just £49.00 GBP/year"

"Cancelling a Free Trial
Go to the Prime Settings page in Your Account and click "do not upgrade." You'll continue to enjoy your Amazon Prime benefits until your free trial period is over. Then your membership will automatically cancel. Your card won't be charged."

BTW, I really enjoyed Popski's Private army which deals with the exploits of the author in North Africa and Italy. I read the book years ago. No idea if it is now an ebook. My copy was a hardback.
