Corvette K-225 is another great movie, especially for us Canadians because it was filmed in Saint John, NB and Halifax, NS. They actually use the steps of the Wardroom Mess at HMC Dockyard Halifax as RCN HQ (probably as to not expose the actual HQ up the base by Wellington Block being a wartime movie). I have done many a gig on those steps prior to a pub crawl with the gentlemen of the RCN! Also interesting in that everyone is from the "wavy" navy (RCNVR) judging by the uniforms.
