So I have been continuing my efforts at getting my own Space Marine chapter battle-worthy, and the latest addition is a rescued Razorback (made from an old Rhino, spare Razorback parts, and random bits). Check him out here on my blog! As always, comments welcome!

You make great job there but if you like to paint bright colors as white or yellow you must spend some time to line it with black or black wash and you have better result. I like very much your shoulder marking is painted or water transfers?

Aye, but I spend enough time painting them as it is. You're right, though, blacklining really would make them pop more.

The shoulder marking is partly painted (the cogwheel) and the rest are transfers. I used a transfer of a skull and painted half of it black, and in both cases hit the area with gloss varnish before and after, and then a matt varnish to finish. Did the same with all the markings on the Razorback itself, too.

The black lining is toy fear in front of that you making with the shoulder marking.
