Available for pre-order. Looks good. He has a prior Osprey title on the same subject but this looks to be a new work and not just an updated version of the other one.

I find it amazing that the Soviets conducted an entire campaign, with 30+ divisions involved, for an entire season, that was largely unknown in the Western world until five years ago, but is now acknowledged to have been crucial in the development of the situation of 1942 and the subsequent German setbacks (Rzhev), and at the same time serious scholars are coming out with what must be the three thousandth book on the Omaha battle. What a incredibly chauvinistic view of the Second World War we Americans (and Brits) have.

It's not as if the Soviets were inviting us over to dig through their archives and research their operational methods though, was it? I would also add that our dads/granddads were (in the main) not fighting at Rzhev.
