I just posted a review of one of Scotia Grendel's lovely APCs on my blog:

tl;dr:

Apart from some casting and size issues, the A.T.A.C. APC is a very nice find for its price. It's not perfect as a model or as an Aliens APC proxy, but if you want a little armoured power for your troopers, you could do far worse – especially if your minis collection is more 28mm than 30mm.

I am working on this model aswe speak . I agree with the review , I had to remove some of the stowage at the bottom and the tow cable was half cast . All in all a decent model .

Weird serendipity – I was looking at Ming's half-painted one just last week. Looks good so far.

I built a couple a while ago for a friend. And you are right as to it being an old vehicle, I remember John doing an article on detailing it in the magazine The Practical Wargamer.

Lovely detail you've added, Patrick!

Wow that is nice, I really like their stuff wish they would make it in 15mm, come on guys take the plunge.

Agreed with manatic: that's a superb job you've done there Patrick

Although the link didn't work correctly, I deduced what the rest of the photobucket pics were and had a good snoop.

Great work.

Thanks guys. It is a sharp looking vehicle when finished but assembly is rough due to the way it is cast. Definitely build it outside on a pleasant spring or summer's day as you will generate a lot of resin dust.

Nice review.
Really makes me wish I hadn't sold mine. Unfortunately I was all in for 40k back then and didn't appreciate it. I would disagree about size issues though. It might not be as big as an aliens APC, but I think the size is very realistic for 28mm when you consider how crammed vehicles like the BMP are in real life.

Excellent job also, Patrick.
