Evidently the domain for warflag.com has lapsed and the Website is offline, likely permanently. I know that the owner, Ian Croxall had mentioned doing this some time ago, but was persuaded otherwise. If anyone knows Ian, ask him to get in touch with me at hmgs1@hotmail.com. I would be willing to host his material on my Website, taking full responsibility for the whole shebang, if he doesn't want to do it any more. Sorta a service to the hobby thing (and I use a lot of the flags as well). Thanks. Colonel Bill ageofeagles.com |

Being discussed here: TMP link Evidently the domain for warflag.com has lapsed and the Website is offline, likely permanently. It will only be permanent if the owner doesn't renew the reservation. Come to that if he doesn't renew the reservation then it becomes possible for someone else to reserve it. I think we should be more concerned about the content rather than the domain name. All is not lost though: link |

Point taken. I think maybe I'll start downloading everything now, just in case. Don't care about the domain name, just the content. Thanks, Colonel Bill ageofeagles.com |

Bill, I have forwarded your message to Ian via an e-mail. He really doesn't play many wargames these days. He's more into his band and his micro-brewery, so I expect that he just let the Warflag page go. |

Hopefully, we'll hear something back, and I can certainly relate. Thanks. Regards, Colonel Bill ageofeagles.com |

Wait a minute . . . a micro-brewery and wargaming are absolutely MADE FOR EACH OTHER . . . aren't they? Well, Ian, if you don't have the time or interest in keeping Warflags online, please allow someone else to take it over from you . . . and then hoist a brew to its continuation. -- Jeff

link Appears to be back up. I have used warflag flags for most of my 15mm Napoleonic units. Happy to see them back up. God bless, John T. |

Oddly enough, I offered Ian money for warflag a few years ago and he never got back to me to even discuss it. Such a shame it has lapsed rather than it being taken on as it could have been. Jaz COMING SOON: GLORY – Grand-tactical ACW Rules! link |
