My daughter and I are enjoying the read. She's been bugging me to run something similar. Guess I gotta get crackin |

This was really cool! I use some of the same card buildings. They're great. I own SS 1st edition. Should I pickup 3rd? Dave's Marvel stats work for 3rd edition too? Thanks, John |

Thanks to all! I love the game, so there will be more coming for sure. Crossover: I have a bunch of your miniatures awaiting painting that will make an appearance in SS3 soon. Especially the henchmen. And I need to get some of those ninjas! (Ninji?) John: I don't know anything about SS1, but SS3 is terrific. If the stats on that page are for 1st edition, then they're certainly workable in SS3. But it does explain a lot. For example, he has several heroes with powers listed that have "Ultra" after it. I can find no reference to "Ultra" anywhere in SS3, so I just ignored it. Besides, I'm familiar enough with the heroes to wing it whenever we want to do something we think they should be able to do. Also, in his version, Ultron has "Mind Control", whereas SS3 calls it "Dominate". There's no such thing as "Spray" so we used it as a Flurry for Ranged Attack, which is good for things like Cap's shield. Minor stuff. You can't beat free card buildings. :) |
