BOOM!!!!! BOOM!!!!!

I suspect at least two dead Russian tanks, before they even know they're under fire.

Nice pics, and minis, by the way.

What scale are they? 15mm, perhaps?

Hazza31B05 Jun 2013 11:58 p.m. PST

Thanks mate, yep 15mm from QRF. Top miniatures!

MWright06 Jun 2013 12:04 a.m. PST

Nice one! Funny thing is i looked at first picture, saw the lawn mower handles, then other pics, saw brickwork and garage door and thought "that looks Australian". I'm from Newcastle. Small world.

What rules? I use FFoT3 for micro and AK47 Reublic (Original recipe) for 15mm.

Ill be using a modified FOW Ruleset called Stopping the Red Tide.
Funny because I live 30 minutes south of Newcastle :p

Very nice minis, and the terrain is nice.

Outstanding mate. Is stopping the Red tide the Cardiff Wargames Club set? Whats your opinion of them?

PSADennis06 Jun 2013 6:52 a.m. PST

Great-looking Sovs, and really nice terrain there, too.

Hazza31B06 Jun 2013 3:20 p.m. PST

@Sparker to that's them. The rules are very good, very well thought out ad cannot praise enough the work gone into them.

Pick them up have a play, if you play FoW it's very easy.

Law,
Thank you for the links. And fantastic pictures Hazza. Seeing you have some experience with QRF I would like to ask a question that has been perplexing me for almost a year. I purchased some SA6's from them. Geoff kindly sent a image of all the parts that are to be in each kit. My issues is in the photo and in the pack there is a big cylinder that is open on both ends. Its a pretty big piece and I have looked at many images of the SA6 and I can't for the life of me see where this goes on the model. If any of you have any idea's I would appreciate an email at psadennis@aolDOTcom
Sorry for kind of hijacking this post but I could really use the help.

Sorry haven't purchased the SA6 yet. Hopefully someone else can jump in and help.

Dennis, it's not a collet to go on the bottom of the turret spigot is it? WE solder these on the bottom of turret sigots to fix teh turret onto the model but allow it to still turn, mainly for when we supply models to the armed forces.

A quick one, Hazza can you take those links to the Version 2.0 Lists.

I've changed it to Version 4.0 and I'm struggling to shutdown the shares of earlier versions on Google Drive. Not sure why i can still access the old ones through links? Unless you are hosting them elsewhere?

EDIT – Sorted it! Bloody Google Drive, doesn't remove the link until you empty the Recycle bin (FFS!).

Mike
