It is a lovely model but the ground scale is so far out as to be ridiculous; a French battalion in line (look at the one with the red die next to it) seems to have a frontage only slightly longer than that of the main farmhouse building (the one which contains the famous south gate). |

Rather carping comment I think FT. Groundscale for buildings is always a problem in gaming. I suppose you could use 10/15mm buildings with 28mm troops but that would look weird as well. If you are trying to reproduce a historical building such as this, or say The Alamo, for example you have to be prepared to compromise around scale. |
