Hi again,
played a lot games without posting much for a while. Decided that this little number was noteworthy for two reasons. Firstly it looks very pretty and secondly it is a departure for us with only five units per side. This was loads of fun and a very different challenge. Hope you enjoy this too

Lovely looking game, thanks for the close ups of the figures, they look stunning.

Looking from the "Iron Gates" north west onto the battlefield…

So, given the result, the Bavarians are at the Gates?

Excellent!! Most of my games have been at this level as more of a brigade against a brigade. It helps getting a better feel for the rules and gives a good game still.

Hi Gents,
thanks for the kind feedback so far.

optionalfield, normsmith and ashenduke – cheers for the feedback on the "look of the thing", it's a large part of our enjoyment of wargaming.

advocate; clever and astute observation, the Bavarians are indeed "at the gates".

VonBlucher – mien kinder – I can see the attraction of brigade level games and I suspect we will experience the excellent General de Brigade rules in a whole new way the more we play, especially the skirmisher aspects. Naturally we continue with the bigger games as well, be rude not to!

Best wishes
JJ
