I am currently working on a Force on Force game and need some high res maps for it. What is the best way to get a high res map (or image that I can use as a map)? Thanks.

Exactly WHAT do you want a map OF ? There are a number of free resources for (fairly) high res maps, however, without knowing where you want a map of.. its hard to send you there :D And how much detail do you need ? (i.e. what scale are you thinking ? 1:10,000 ? 1:2,000 ? ) And how big an area do you need to cover ? 1km x 1km ? |

I am looking for some of the terrain over in Afghanistan. 1:2000 would be great for what I am planing on. Where can I get some of those types of images? Thanks!

You can import Google Earth images into SketchUp and work with a graphic scale from there. There's even a way to turn on the 3D terrain. |
