Have you ever played a game on vassal? Have you ever put a game on Vassal and if so, could you put a photo of a wargame table on vassal? |

I have a few times. I haven't made a Vassal module, so I can't answer your photo question with certainty, but I can't see why not. At it's most basic, it's just an image file. |

I use Cyberboard, when I upgrade my computer, I will try Vassal. I have nothing but the highest compliments for Cyberboard though! |

You could use a photo of a table for the map, but any oblique angles would get pretty confusing. Take a look at the WH40K and Napoleon's Triumph modules for alternatives. You might try photographing individual terrain pieces from as high above as possible and then placing them individually. |

Yes, tried it. Could never get into it; the feel of it was simply off for me. Regards, J. P. Kelly |
