I ran across one set of 28mm scale roller skaters that looked like you could use for Rollerball, but they were $5.00 USD each (can't recall who made them now, but think they were in the UK as well, adding further to the cost). Just wondering if there are any other metal, or plastic 25mm – 32mm figures that might be suitable for conversion to the Rollerball setting? Futuristic looking motorcycles with riders earn bonus points for the match. |

There was a guy running a Rollerball game at a local con. I think he was using modified football player cake decorations. I dont remember what he used for the bikes. |

I noted a guy who used a set of figures from an old electric football game. They looked good with a fresh paint job. |

That might have been the same guy now that I think of it. |

the guy who made the track for historicon was jp trotsal. he used football player cake decorations that were just larger versions of the old electric football players. these can still be had painted or bare plastice. as jp will tell you, there are 2 main troubles with his setup: first, if you use the cake decoration figures, you will have a track that is about 5 foot around. and then you have to track down the motor bikes. jp used matchbox bikes, but they are hard to find. i was the guy who used the smaller electric football igures. that makes my track about 3 and a half feel around. for bikes, i used old shadow run street bikes. but it seems iron wind has dropped them' jptold me he was set to have true 25mm figures made, but whoever was gonna do that, wanted the rights to jp's game. he has never said who he was in touch with the project, but i suspect it was impact! shortly after jp turned down the figure people, impack! released thier roller girl game. which has failed. |

Perhaps a bit out of desired scale but certainly within scale to each other
inexpensive and tons of mod potential :) |

Almost 30 years ago I saw a RB game that appeared to use converted 54mm or poss 1:35 WW2 stuff. |

The rub with kitbashing a rollerball game from existing figures has always been the bikes. Last year I posted the news that Hot Wheels had come out with 1/64 scale bikes WITH riders: TMP link As for the miniature maker that made me the "generous offer"
the company was not, repeat not, Impact. As the person in question was, in my opinion, greatly misguided, I refuse to name the company so there is neither retribution nor unintentional promotion of his products. PS — Oh, and it's "Trostle"
the 2nd t is silent, always throws people off |

I was planning to use Dreadball miniatures for the runners and skaters. Again, bikes is the issue. These might do: link Although they're metal, which isn't ideal. |
