try a hobby knife to remove flash
run it across like a razor blade and with that same gentle touch. GREAT looking figures and fantastic paint
what is the deal with the black round bases and the transparent plastic hexes? |

The black round base is part of the figure. The clear hex bases come with the game. The recessed circle on the clear hex is the right size for the figure base to fit in. I've got them stuck in there with some poster tack for now. I guess the figure base didn't need to be black, but that's what I painted it. |

Cool Orxes! If you prefer the clear hexes, that's certainly a good way to go. You may also want to look at some effects folks have done painting the whole base the same color and possibly highlighting the front 3 hex edges (the model's threat zone). The Mantic DreadBall forums have a lot of super paintjobs. You may want to post your stuff over there, too. |
