Yeah right on call 130mm artillery support where did that come from? Sorry didn't happen. And what's the deal with objective markers? The enemy themselves are the objective. Probably more than any other war killing/capturing the enemy was the main objective for both sides. |

JD, I take it you have been living under a rock?!? It's called Flames of War:Veit. The game of WHAT IF'S

And what's the deal with objective markers? The enemy themselves are the objective. Probably more than any other war killing/capturing the enemy was the main objective for both sides. It's Flames. There are still objective markers (usually an LZ marker and a pile of supplies or something), and game ends when someone takes the objective. But you get VPs for wiping out platoons. After all, if Charlie overruns the LZ, it's pretty much game over for the Americans. I'm still working on my two objective markers for Flames of Vietnam. One termite mound with a red smoke grenade next to it for the LZ marker, and the 'wheres charlie?' objective is going to be a crashed Loach. |

Sounds good Lion! One thing I love is the modeling of OM's. Sounds like ya got some nifty ideas there to. |

Yeah honestly, I don't plan on using the 130s much. It's just that I don't have that many points of NVA yet, and I have lots of fun American toys I want on the board. rest assured, they will be left out for the most part! Yep, the game isn't really about objectives- in many of the missions the objectives don't really matter. In this particular mission it does, but not in others. |
