A brief post with photo of artillery, both heavy and light batteries.

There was horse artillery in the Sikh Wars, Sir Harry Smith had horse artillery to the tune of 22 guns for Aliwal.

Yes, you are correct and I am aware of that. My collection of British and Company units pre-date the Sikh Wars.

Still plenty of nice campaigns in- and outside of India; the Sind, Baluchistan, Anglo-Burmese War, the First Opium War to name a few.
