With Specialist Games being un-restocked, what other figure lines fit the Mordheim 'look & feel'?

(Of course I'd get into a game right as it's being killed off…)

This has crossed my mind also. What about Foundry swashbucklers, conquistadores and Landsknechts. ECW for witchfinders.

You could make most of the figures using Warhammer fantasy figures.

I've never done it myself, but I've always liked the idea of a Mordheim league where each player buys a single plastic Warhammer unit, and converts it into a gang, trading for any extra bits they may need (A bit like a sealed CCG league).
Although this would obviously work better for some gangs then others, with nonhuman gangs likely having limited trading choices.

Reaper has many suitable figures.

SpuriousMilius has the place and with figure finder you can search for theme type or weapon type miniatures.
Do GW still do Empire militia boxes?? skaven ,chaos etc..

The Warhammer Flagelants are a good choice.

Reaper actually has a fair number of figures that work well in a witchunter warband.

The GW Empire Militia box is the exact same figures that came with the original boxed set of Mordheim. (and Skaven Nightrunners). The Empire archers box and handgunners box also make nice additions.
If you can find a box of the 6th edition Empire Soldiers, you will find their parts are compatible with all of the above. Pistolier, knight and even Zombie and Skeleton parts can be thrown in for good measure.
