This is a simple question, are there any rules for gaming with creatures from the Cthulhu mythos? I mean ones set in the 1920s, when the majority of the stories are set and ones that are not of the roleplaying type like Call of Cthulhu. I am toying with the idea of playing in 15mm, so the monsters look bigger!

Another vote for Strange Aeons,

Fun game, lots of 1920s mythos flavour

Strange Aeons is like playing out just the fight sequences in a Call of Cthulhu campaign. Very enjoyable.

Sandy Petersen, author of the rpg, is currently heading a Kickstarter for a Cthulhu board game. Apparently the Old Ones, represented by the players, are battling it out with each other.

I have yet to play them, but I recently got the Eldritch Horror version of the USEME rules from 15mm.co.uk

15mm.co.uk/UM013.htm

Simple, cheap and with lots packed into the small book, I'd say they are worth a look.

Not sure about this but Hills Rise Wild -boardgame from Pagan could probably be used with very little tinkering.

Wow, thanks guys, lots of choice there. I had a quick look at Strange Aeons and they looked like a pretty good set.
