Right all, I am after the minis from several games, but don't know if they can be bought separately from their respective games; Last Night On Earth = I like the look of the minis, are they 28mm? Can they be purchased without the game? Zombies! = To bulk out the masses, are they 28mm also, or are they a different scale? Either way can they be bought separately? Zombiecide = 28mm, but can you buy them separately from the game? Cheers one and all, Ark3n |

For Zombicide, look for a set called "Walk Of The Dead" which has 24 of the sculpts from the boxed game. You can find a couple of different bags of Zombies!!! miniatures, like the Bag O' Zombies and Bag O' Clowns. They are much cheaper but not great sculpts – more game components than miniatures. For Last Night on Earth there is a box called Zombies With Grave Weapons, but I don't know anything about that one other than the name. Hope this helps! |

Zombies! are 1/72 scale, so far closer 20mm. |

Zombies! are 1/72 scale, so far closer 20mm. Actually, more like 25mm in person. My step-dad has couple bags of them and we used them for years to fill out an undead army when a bunch of his friends and my friends all played Reaper's Dark Heaven. They are too small for most 28s, but it doesn't matter when you need a hundred zombies for really cheap. |

(my opinion) The problem with Zombies! are their bases. They have tall cast plastic base that, even though the figures match up for standard 1/72 or 20mm , the bases are so tall they raise the figure up to more like 25mm. But standing next to standard 25mm figures, Zombies! figures are sparse, thin and just look out of synch. Rebasing is a quandry
They can be cut off and glued on to a base, but I never do that unless pinning and the thin diameter of the ankles/chewed up lower legs makes it difficult. So they are set aside until a solution presents itself

Don't worry about it is my solution for Zombies!!! zombies. People in the real world are all different sizes and so are my zombies. I've got zombies from all kinds of manufacturers. Once you base them all up and paint them you won't notice the difference. It ends up looking more like a "real" zombie horde. |

I found solution for the "Zombies" figs that I think works pretty well. I just glued the base right onto a washer. rounded out the base under a layer of plaster and painted them quickly. They are a classic 25mm'ish in height, but the base makes them size up well enough with 28mm's. When we mixed them with the other zombies for our yearly halloween zombie game they looked fine. Eventually other club members painted up enough other zombies that we didn't need them anymore, but I still recommend them to anyone who needs a bunch of zombies if even WGF isn't cheap enough for you. You can see some in this pic. Mine are the ones on round bases with light grey balast. There's also a few of my friend's on hexes with green flock.

Actually, Zombicide is selling more than just the "Walk of the Dead" box. However, some of these are (or will be) the new sculpts for the forthcoming Prison Outbreak so those may not be available just yet. (From Boardgame Geek, in the expansions section: link Zombicide Box of Zombies Set #1: Walk of the Dead Zombicide Box of Zombies Set #2: Toxic Crowd Zombicide Box of Zombies Set #3: Angry Zombies Zombicide Box of Zombies Set #4: Walk of the Dead 2 Zombicide Box of Zombies Set #5: Zombie Dogz Zombicide Box of Dogs Set #6: Dog Companions |

LnoE zombies are available separately. link 14 zombies but only 3 sculpts. Nice figures but I wouldn't want any more. Too samey. |

LNoE minis are thinner than most, but the height is OK imo (agree with the 25mm comment earlier). Hordes don't have to be the same size and girth imo too though. I purchased my minis directly from their web site. They take paint well and I reposed a few to make them look different: link Zombies! look good, but only one pose per bag from what I've seen. |

LNoE is actually a decent game. |

Ancestral Hamster, most of those Zombie boxes for Zombicide (two through six) won't be available for quite a while as they were just funded with their Season 2 Kickstarter. Walk of the Dead is the only one available right now. |

They should be out before the end of the year. |

Update for the Zombicide KS2: Main set out in August not September. Second wave in December nor Q1 2014. It is amazing what $2.2 USD million can do for a schedule! |

Lnoe and zombiecide seem to match up very well, both by height and heft. The only exception imho is that the zombiecide ladies are slightly taller. link Sgt perry has been good enough to furnish us with some excelent comparison shots. I think that the heroes look a little slight in comparison with the likes of copplestone, reaper, etc, but not unworkably so. The standard zombies are fine in the mix with loads of other ranges imho. I have made a couple of head swaps with mantic minis and they seem to work, not sure arm swaps would work so well though
