Very nice indeed and the big guy is a good deal even at retail price. |

I've always liked the Wraithguard minis; the big guy's nifty too but pushing the boundaries of what I'd be willing to pay

Amazed it took this long to get plastic Wraithguard. That ticks me off and I don't really follow the 40k much anymore. The Wraithknight is something I would consider if I fought enough battles and games to make it worthwhile. Heck, I'd like a few of them (even at the insane price) just for display. 9" is in the larger Gundam range (which are cheaper). But this is very impressive. Heck, just doing the molds for this is an extreme action. Still, 115.00 is a chunk of change. That's the rest of my purchases for that Byzantine army
hmm. |

"Very nice indeed and the big guy is a good deal even at retail price." At $125 USD no it is not a good deal. As I said before that model is GW stealing money from their Fanboyz. I just paid that same amount for nearly 300 painted 15mm Bavarians. That was a good deal the Wraithknight I will never buy ever. To me it is like Finecast Resin, or in other words "crap". |

"Still, 115.00 is a chunk of change" It is pricey but a pretty good deal for what you get. It is one of the bigger models out there for 28mm figures. It looks like it is about as big as the Dreamforge Leviathan and $5 USD cheaper. Tough to tell which has better details, there are certainly more details on the Eldar model but there are supposed to be. Overall it is a good value for the dollar paid at retail price. $115 USD is a good price for such a large detailed model. |

I really don't care for the wraithknight at all, so the price/value doesn't concern me (I didn't like the look of the Tau riptide either). Those plastic wraithguard are very nice though. If I didn't already have my metal ones I'd snap them up. |

Love 'em. I plan to buy two of the Wraithknights and three squads of the Wraithguards/Wraithblades. |

I have to admit I will be buying squads of new Wraithguards/Wriathblades. I really like them. I already have 10 of the old metal but I like the variety of the new kit. The Wraithknight I may buy one of but still I'm not sure. It fits the look of the Eldar but I'm not in to really big stompas. I like my little Wraith stompas. Edit: Thank you Armand for posting the pictures and link! |
