Been a busy working day over at my blog. Come and check out some spaceships and a beakie-Marine with plasma cannon! Comments demanded as usual!

I really like the parchment-scroll effect for the ships' names.

nice! your own chapter, right?
i have 54(just counted a few days ago, toying with selling on ebay) "beakie" RT era space marines and an unopened box of RT01 beakies. i would love to paint them up and buy the new edition rules book. maybe play some pickup games. but i just can't afford:
1)the 6th ed. rules book(knowing myself, i'd buy the limited book. i love eye candy.)
2)the codex(i hear the codex's are quite expensive these days)
3)the figures i would need to fillout the army. lots of $$$$ to do that.and i HATE to give granny any $$$$ at all.
4)while this does'nt cost anything, i HATE the tourny crowd that goes along with playing pickup games. i have played one(1) pickup game of 40k(using a friends necon army. 4th ed. i was thinking of painting up my marines way back then. my marines have been collecting dust since i first bought RT way back when. when 40k was a fun and quite goofy game. i miss those days. sigh…). i played a 12 year old(i was 36 or so)and i was in the process of destroying his ork army, and i had to pause and look up a rule. it was in this kids favor, and he says "don't cry about it". i won my 1 and only 40k game. it was a bad experience…
