The final piece for my Battlegroup Overlord British Army, turned it into a little scenic piece to look nice at our Bovvy demo…

I am blown away by this. Really fantastic. I think I will try something similar. I do not even have a quarter of the talent you have, but I can dream can't I.

Really love your work.

Poignant.

I think Tony Barton must have sculpted those figures from old photographs, the poses are so natural – you can just sense the stretcher bearers straining against the weight.

Your painting has absolutely done them justice, PB (the flowers on the corpse were a nice touch).

Fantastic. Excellent painting to compliment figures with such personality.

Fabulous brushwork. Barton's sculpts are just amazing.

That is superb.

A very special scene Piers, I hope you are able to display it, as it deserves to be on show and not just stored in the army box.
AB stuff is always splendid but your composition is what sets them off in this case.
Looking forward to seeing your commandos when you get to them.

Lovely scene--and I think it answers any queries as to whether a forward aid post is movable in BGO rules.
