Any suggestions for the ammount of figures to use per base? |

The old box sets used 4 figures to a base. The new edition pictures seem to lean towards 3 to base. But you can do whatever works for your budget. A base is a base no matter how many figures are on it. |

Cheers Tinyminis, I was thinking they had to have a certain number as per DBX basing, however this is a much better approach, and allows each army to be slightly unique. |

I use the DBx standard (albeit with larger bases), switching things up as army concept and spacing limitations require. |

We use 3 figs per base for foot and 2 for cavalry. Infantry bases are 40x20, Monsters are 40x40 and cav are 40x30. Well, at least that's what we use. Thanks, John |

I use alot of variety but like Tinyminis says "A base is a base no matter how many figures are on it." |

Did you get in any Mighty Armies play at Nashcon? My son Sean will get his 3 new MA armies for Graduation (painted) this weekend. Two were from you. Dark Elf and Mummy Kings. The latter was a High Elf from Alternative Armies. I'm finishing painting his Griffin for that and then basing the High Elf later. We'll see whether he can beat his girlfriend then!
Maybe then I can knock out my Rats and Dark Elves I picked up at Cincycon! Thanks, John |

I am about to rebase a 6mm orc army I had for HotT, 40mm frontage, into 60mm frontage (60x30 and 60x60). I like heavy looking bases for that kind of game
Seems more lifelike! :) |
