I'm always glad when I hear a vet was alive to see stuff like that. Crazy to think of seeing on tape something you lived through!

One of my great uncles flew bombers and didn't make it home, although a couple guys on his crew did survive the crash, and it ended up being mentioned in a documentary on the local news a couple years ago. Wierd feeling knowing a family member was involved, nobody in the family knew (or never talked about) the details.
