This year for her birthday she asked us if it would be okay if she didn't get presents. When we asked why, she stated that she wanted everyone to bring a toy of kid in a hospital because they needed them more than her. And that is what we did. Her friends brought 35 unwrapped toys that will be donated to a local charity that gives the toys to kids in the local hospitals.

All this was totally her idea. We had nothing to do with it.
