This is a follow-up to the previous thread I started about Google Reader ending soon. Has anyone switched to a different RSS reader they like? I will miss the simplicity of Google Reader, which I read on my phone and different computers. I'm sure the app's demise also will affect folks reading our blogs.

I subscribe to over 400 game and comic blogs, and of those I "follow" a few shy of Blogger's maximum of 300, which are all gaming blogs. So I need an RSS reader like Google Reader.

So what replacement reader ya' got?

I switched to The Old Reader, seems to do everything that I want it to do. I did try a few others but didn't like them so much

I use Flipboard. It collates my feeds nicely including Facebook.

Thanks for the link – The Old Reader looks like it will do nicely…

I use FeedDemon.

Wow, that was fast.

Obsolete already……

Gotta love those tech companies, and their planned obsolescence timelines.

I use Feedly, transfered the links smoothly

Newsify and flipboard work very well.

IMO Google is cutting the reader because they can't make a cent from advertising on it. Their official reason was probably written by a politician. :-)

Hmmm. Old Reader looks promising.

I've been using feedly also. I've been happy with it but I haven't looked too hard.
