Not really sure where best to put this post! I'm looking for 15mm or 20mm Sampan models. I have some of the flashpoint models already. I found this discussion TMP link and would like some, but the OP is no longer a member and the link is dead. Anyone know if they are available anywhere? Any other suggestions? |

Minimi have at least one in 20mm . Ainsty did one or two as well . |

The Ainsty one's rather a stylised 28mm, so probably won't fit the bill, but Minimi's a good call. |

Cool
.so looks the Vulcain ones still exist!Great, and thanks for the other links. I want all sorts of shapes and sizes and was expecting to have to scratchbuild a load, but these ones with some modifications may well be enough. Need some bustling harbours for 15mm games, but a small 20mm hull often makes a larger 15mm one, just change figures and boat furniture! Thanks guys! |

Thanks Dwight, I've got three of those, luckily bought at resonable prices as they can go for collectable prices! There is also a much smaller junk, by
I forget
I picked up by accident, which will make a great small junk! |

I forgot to add it to the other thread but Flashpoint Models had some 15mm sampans in their range. Not sure if they are in the current FP range though but the company is still active. |

The Minimi one in 20mm is quite nice, a one-piece resin casting. They also do a fishing boat suitable for South-East Asia too. |

Thanks Etranger, the flashpoint ones are good I have a handful of them. I like the alternative rectangular look of the minimi one, but not keen on the solid hoop. |

I've recieved the ones from the Scene and Vulcain now, to go along with the flashpoint ones I alrady have. They are all good. The Vulcain ones are lovely for 15mm. When I get round to them I shall take some comparison photos etc for reference! |

This is what the ones from The Scene looked like in the early stages:

Yep, I got two of those Dan and two of the later style corrugated roof covered ones. That hull is a great hull for making a small junk/sampan. Will be adding a sail or two and some roofing etc. I've got some ACW town buildings to scratch build frist, but will post what I do on here with some comparison shots etc |

That little hull was fun to build. Glad to see that The Scene UK is selling them. Dan PS. This one is cute: link |
