Hello All,

I have just uploaded a few images of my latest painting – a couple of units of the Perry Miniatures Egyptian Infantry, so please enjoy.

Very nice. Great basing too.

My favorite nationality of troops in the Sword and the Flame. No matter what they do I have fun with them. Somewhere I have a company of Egyptian camel troops who either run away at the first sight of dervish or fight to the death. I never know what will happen when I roll that first moral dice. It is rather embarrassing watching them barely stay in front of an Ansar warband as they are chased the length of the table.

They are very nice! Now you need to start on the bashi-bazouks.

Very nice paintwork on some very nice figures, the style is very clean and crisp, the shading on the uniforms looks just right not to overdone.

Cheers Guys I have already have two units of the bashi-bazouks infantry in the army plus a mounted unit so all set.

Sorry but the bayonets are fine and do not worry me that much and can be straightend any time.

Thanks for the comments

Regards

Nathan

Wow, Nathan, the figures are very nicely painted, with gorgeous subtle shading, but your job on the terrain for the bases, as Bandolier pointed out above, is really FANTASTIC!

Don't know how many more Egyptians you plan to raise, but I would truly love to see an entire army of them, with cavalry and artillery included, all painted and based by you, facing off against the Brits at a refight of Tel el-Kebir.

Thanks for posting the pic and the link to your blog!
