Do these miniatures still exist? I have had the itch to get started on either a Parthian or Scythian force for some time now, and have decided to pull the trigger. Imagine my dismay when after a day of searching I can't seem to find these great miniatures anywhere.

I know there are other ranges, but these horse archers were hands down the best in my opinion (I know some wont agree).

Is this line dead? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I think Andy at Sgt. Major Miniatures picked up most of the Vendel lines. You might drop him a note & see if he has what you are looking for. I know he got the Classical Greeks & Persians.

The Parthians weren't part of the Sgt Major buyout – I think they were very newly sculpted at the time, and Stafford Games hung onto them, although I can't find them on their website any more….

[Edit] Looks like Warlord have picked them up; their forthcoming Parthians look like the Vendel ones to me – I'm sure I recognise the chap with his shirt open, shooting back to the left in particular; right hand figure in the second picture:

Good catch Dom, those do indeed look like the Vendel Parthians. Guess I will just have to be patient.

Count, in a similar position. I picked up some Vendel Parthians on Ebay and was looking for some more to round out the army but had no luck. I have bought some A&A Parthians that aren't too bad and have the 'finer' sculpt look of the Vendel ones which are much slimmer models than their Persians for example. You might want to llok at A&A while waiting for the Warlord reissues.

Cheers

I have 4, could swap, in the UK, for A&A Parthians or similar…
