Why are the these so monks angry? Maybe the Vikings ran away with their favorite Holy Relic. These Gripping Beast figures are real characters, and a treat to paint!

Just feed them Sir Robin's minstrels, and there will be much rejoicing!

John the OFM22 May 2013 7:11 p.m. PST

Any original OFMs in that mob?

TwinCities Gamer22 May 2013 7:28 p.m. PST

They do look quite well fed, don't they? And John, I suppose now is as good a time as any to ask, what is an OFM?

Give me back my mutton joint!

For me, it means Old Fart Meister.

For Franciscan monks, it's Ordo Fratrum minorum. grin
I am not now, nor have I ever been a Franciscan monk.

It's a Belgian monastery, just after Brother Parvus suggested they brew a Lite Beer.

Very nice bunch of Monks (is there a collective Name for a Group of Monks?)

Razor7823 May 2013 12:03 p.m. PST

The Vikings had a term for a group of monks……slaves.

gavandjosh0224 May 2013 5:03 a.m. PST

I think a group of Monks is called a Cloister.

MaryJane24 May 2013 10:37 a.m. PST

Belgian monasteries dont brew 'light' beers, only the serious stuff John.

And a group of monks is simply called an order.
