Just bought a box of these. Fantastic quality, with some great action poses possible from the components.

I just wonder what folks think about the price – I paid just over £20.00 GBP (incl postage). For 24 figures I think this is quite expensive. An extra sprue of 10 figures would make it more reasonable.

I think the Teutonic infantry are pretty much the same box with some variations…..am I soft enough to buy them also?

You can get them for 16 pounds at Triple Helix.

Thx Morrigan……£16 is a lot more reasonable

You can get great looking metal ones for that price.

Where can you get metal 12/13th century Templar infantry in 28mm Raglan?

Barony Miniatures and Curtys both specialize in the 12th-13th
centuries in 28mm

Last weekend I bought one of each Fireforge set (except the Teutonic knights I already had) from this town's lone bricks and mortar stockist of historical wargames figures. I too am mystified as to why the Templar and Teutonic infantry sets cost almost twice as much on a per figure basis as the foot sergeants. However, I also bought a few other items, and because it was a substantial purchase received a decent rate of discount, which helped to average the per figure price for foot to just over a dollar; not too unreasonable, I think. But if I was someone looking at buying just the foot knights sets I'd certainly have some major qualms.

Marcus Brutus – Gripping Beast also has a 13th century feudal range, although I haven't checked it out so can't say whehter it specifically includes Templars. And then of course there's the Perry crusades range.

Correction: whether.

Marcus Brutus

Have a look at the two BTD's Crusade ranges. When they run a sale, it will cost you between 50-80p per figure.
