We are adding a bedroom and I am enjoying watching the builders work, and this morning they did the floor and ended with about 10 pieces cut from the wooden eye-beams that rest on the cinder-block walls and hold up the floor. These are roughly a foot each way, with the "eye" across top and bottom being about 4 inches.

Looks to me that if I set them upright, I'm looking at a foot-long section of wall, which is also about 12" high; very tall for 15mm or 28mm, but probably perfect for my 3" LOTR forces. I'm already seeing how to fit them together for gatehouse. I may put two togehter to give the wall good depth.

Has anyone ever done this?

No, but it is an interesting idea. Pictures?…
