I would like to do some 1920-ish Northwest frontier scenarios. I understand that British companies of that era had a Lewis gun attached
Does anyone use the Lewis Gun in TSATF? Should they be allocated to 2-man teams?
Any info would be appreciated

Yes and yes. That's they way we have played them, with two-man teams and six firing dice (three per man in the team). There are more details about using LMGs in the Sword to Adventure variant to TSATF. Here is a post showing several British sections organized around a 2-man Lewis Gun team. link Jim |

The historical allocation was two Lewis guns per platoon in the 1920s (so two LMG sections and two rifle/bomber sections), or eight per company. Eight Lewis guns might be a case of overkill for TSATF though:) |

" Just remember. You could have had more Lewis guns |

I like the idea of two Lewis gun teams constituting a TS&TF unit, with two gunners per gun and an officer or sergeant commanding the teams. That's what I shall try. PS to Col. Campbell -- RE your link, Highlanders still wore the kilt in action at this date, so yes, those particular Scotties are distinguishable. |
