Yes, OLD CROW has all the Slammer vehicles that Hammer and his Boys use – M2 MBT, M9 CBT CAR/ACAV, CMD versions of both, M9 CGO, M53 Hog SPFA, 2 types of M21 Hover Jeeps, and Broglie's M12 TDs
I'm using GZG's NAC Infantry and 1 Man Skimmers for Slammer Grunts
Also check out this link and contact Jez at Old Crow
He has made other vehicles from the Slammer- Verse
TMP link Here's the OLD CROW 6mm Slammers I've completed so far (John was even nice enough put some some of them on the official site) – link I'm painting up the Infantry and 1/ man Skimmers now

St Anselm F16 and L4 have done a good job in highlighting some of the main contenders as Old Crow and Old Crow alternatives in 6mm (thanks very much chaps). A lot of the main vehicles can be souced from Old Crow (with all of the "not having a real website you can buy from, do it all by email" issues not withstandng). And if you can get what you need from Jez, excellent. There are some excellent alternatives (as F16 has pointed out) plus some more I'd like to formulate, but it's still a work in progress (ie – its on my next two or three things on my list to do!). One example of an alternative for the Legion vehicles (used by Heliodorus and several others) which might well be the Angel Barracks Pathmaster
But, to be honest, I need to revise the buying guide for a number of reasons, not just the new alternatives for old forces but the new vehicles for new forces (6mm Brigade PacFed for TAS Lighter vehicles, for example).
(Sure that's the 15mm one but the 6mm ones are out there too!) Or the Brigade Models Suwaca half track for the Slammerverse users of that kind of vehicle:
ie the Thunderbolt Division or the Ander's Legion. And also, of course, the new 15mm Hammer's Slammers: The Crucible range from Ainsty link It will get the guide done but I was really busy with the Salute game. And Supplement 4. And doing the new Antenociti 15mm range force. And my tuxedo didn't come back from the cleaners etc etc etc! I will get on with a new, up to date, buying guide ASAP: thanks for the toe up the backside! John T |

I'd really like to see some 6mm alternatives to the Old Crow combat car. I'm currently looking at the Scotia SF03 air cushion vehicle. Any other suggestions? |
Legion 4 | 21 May 2013 1:18 p.m. PST |
Failure 16 recommended: Icarus M9 Combat Car
TBD (CinC ASF-9 Light Gun Carrier 1cm Gatling) Although I'm a fan of the Old Crow/Drake Approved version
but it really does not matter
your army should be your creation
as you like
|
| Angel Barracks | 21 May 2013 2:27 p.m. PST |
Ah my bad, I never saw that you needed Lions Rampant. My FU is confused
|
| St Anselm | 21 May 2013 2:46 p.m. PST |
Ahhh fu
. but
.. there are lions rampant!!! Emailed Dom and he directed me to the 15th (Scottish) Infantry Division vehicle badges
Lions Rampant on yellow circular badge.. but around 2mm square so might be a touch big.. am going to get the measure out to see if they fit! |

I knew that, it is what I meant really

St Anselm – that's a useful bit of info! Ta John T |

Despite the problems of Old Crow and websites that I mentioned erlier, I really couldn't recommend any alternatives in 6mm than the excellent OC range for the specific Slammers vehicles. Other vehicles from The Crucible. Well that's a different story. John T |

Is there any access to Old Crows 6mm range? cant remember what they have and what I need?? |
| John Treadaway | 22 May 2013 10:07 a.m. PST |
I'm told that if you email him he may be able to hook you up. His email address is on his website (that I helped him construct). Don't get me wrong, everyone: I seriously want Jez at Old Crow to do well. I just want the Slammers stuff to not be held back. Drop him a line and I hope he can set you up. The 6mm Slammers are lovely link , as L4 demonstrated in his superdetailed versions link John T |

I have contacted Jez at Old Crow and got a very speedy reply and here it is: All the products from the old site are still available and until the new site is ready you can view the old one here – link The "buy" buttons don't work, but you can view the products and I am using the old prices until the new site launches. the link works and it was good to see the miniatures again and I can add to my collection there. So as one question is answered it leads to another… I am still looking for Hover jeeps… so if anyone knows of a good 6mm variety that would be great or even if someone has a plan to make some in the pipeline that would be good too! ( hint hint ) again thanks to Jez for his quick and excellent reply Karl |

There are some hover things tucked away in here: link |
| Failure16 | 22 May 2013 6:38 p.m. PST |
Amongst other things, I have used the SEM-10 Hoverjeep for Baffin/Broglie's Legion gun/mortar jeeps, the SEM-11 Jetbikes for Ander's Legion mounted infantry, and the SEM-39 Air/Hover pickup for Solace Militia Gendarmerie. Great line, and the infantry fills yeoman service for a multitude of Slammerverse forces. Also, look for the GZG light hoverjeep in place of CN44 jeeps in use by the Francophile/phone outfits (Division Legere, primarily). |

Here's a possible replacement for Geckos and similar vehicles in 6mm – link |

Thanks JT for the that ! And Thanks Amselm for that link ! And Jez's fast reply !! It's all good ! x3 ! I'd imagine you could order the new vehicles not shown on the link by contacting Jez direct there

As far as I'm aware (last I checked) Jez had 6mm Slammers jeeps. John T |

They are fantastic!! I couldnt see them in the 6mm section
love the 15mm ones
oh my wallet is BURNING! |
| Angel Barracks | 23 May 2013 11:04 a.m. PST |
Should I be thinking about some 6mm Hammers Slammers style stuff then? I don't like blower things, but wheeled vehicles I could do
|
Legion 4 | 23 May 2013 11:13 a.m. PST |
Thank Anselm ! And AB
you see what some blokes are looking for
so
you may what to consider it

Would somethink akin to the hover jeep fit in with the Junker line? off out on safari razor hound hunting? or a hover tug? |
| Angel Barracks | 23 May 2013 11:56 a.m. PST |
hmmmm I don't like hover tech as in my head it seems less plausible/practical than wheeled tech. I always think it seems less effective. I think of it as a second rate tech. So, yes maybe I could have some small hover thing as Junker stuff. Razor Hound hunting, someone has been reading my stuff. That makes me happy.
:D

Angel Barracks Remember that the stuff in the Slammerverse is broadly split into two types: ACVs – actual hover vehicles and Blowers (really very low flying helicopters (of which the jeep is one). Well, the jeep, tanks, combat cars and infantry skimmers (and civilian air cars) all use vectored jet enjines to get them off the ground. The military ones – which carry heavy armour and such – have plenum chambers to make more use of the bubble of air they jet engines create and so don't get more than a metre off the ground (the infantry skimmers are an exception to this). But, of course, no one actually flies in the combat zone as – when you do – you get shot
Other forces use Air Cushion Vehicles (and some jeeps have softer skirts and fall into this category). But lots use wheeled and tracked. It's mostly quite 'near future' tech. John T |

John, don't get me wrong, I am not saying HS is a silly idea. It just does not click in my head, dunno why. Same as mechs, they don't work for me either.. Just goes to show that I am odd, what sci-fi player does not like both mechs and hovering stuff

| John Treadaway | 24 May 2013 1:37 a.m. PST |
I know what you mean – not a big fan of mechs either. John T |

Agreed
eventhough I have some
