Ditto richarDISNEY… Rather uninspiring in the sense that it resembles every other 'sci-fi action epic' …same imagery and themes, which become rather tiresome and predictable. But hey, it will sell. |

Enjoyed Pitch Black immensely, still haven't seen the Riddick movies. This one worries me already with an overlong trailer. But it does have Katee Sackhoff in it. Tricky one! |

Kind of disappointing actually. I would really have like to see a continuation of the "Chronicles" plotline which had a really cool visual style, was a bit different than most other Sci-fi fare, and actually developed his character a bit (albeit in dark ways..) Seems like they're kind of just rebooting "Pitch Black" and adding in some bounty hunters. Will Netflix it, but much less likely to be a priority for theater viewing. |
